Puppies for Sale or Adoption
There is nothing quite like getting a new puppy. The next year is almost guaranteed to be fun and memorable. Today there are more ways than ever to find great puppies. We are fortunate to have so many good options in the southern New Jersey area.
Before you think about getting a puppy, be aware that there is no such thing as a free puppy. Be prepared to invest some time and money with your new companion. An adult dog might be a better option if you want your pet to be more independent from the start.
Animal Shelters
Animal Shelters are a great way to find an excellent puppy. The wonderful people who run them save lives every day and are very good at helping you find your perfect match.

Internet
There are a large number of websites dedicated to matching people with puppies. These can vary in quality but can be good resources. Just try not to get too hung up on a dog you have never met. Five minutes in person is worth more than dozens of hours looking at pictures on the internet.
Bulletin Boards
Check bulletin boards at veterinarian’s offices, stores, and shelters for free puppies.
